JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create full floor plan drawings based on given specifications
  • Update & maintain floor plans per redlines
  • Attend monitor plan reviews to update floor plans based on field changes
  • Revise plans for energy-efficiency and quality improvement
  • Revise material specifications based on plan revisions
  • Identify oversights and provide solutions
  • Provide guidance on fitting plan footprint for each lot
  • Maintain the floor plan, elevation and option portion of marketing materials
  • Review completed tasks for accuracy and quality

 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS [required]

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential drafting
  • Thorough understanding of the homebuilding process, materials used in homebuilding and construction terminology
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe and Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-starter that can effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service, communication, creative and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy
  • High level of professionalism
  • High School Diploma or GED

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Drafting or CAD Certification
  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
